How RapperAI handles your photos, your rap videos and your account data, who processes them for us, and how to have them deleted.

This policy explains what personal data RapperAI ("we", "us") collects when you use rapperai.net, why we need it, who processes it for us and the choices you have. Questions: contact us through a support ticket from your account (Settings, Support).

The short version

You upload one or two photos, and we use them only to make your rap video.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use your photos or videos to train AI models.
Payments are handled by our payment processor. We never see your full card details.
You can ask us to delete your photos, your videos or your whole account at any time.

What we collect

Account details. Your email address and name when you sign up. If you sign in with Google, Google shares your name, email address and profile picture with us. Passwords are stored only as a secure hash.

Your photos. The photos you upload to make a video, plus your confirmation that you have permission to use them.

What you type. The topic and names you enter for a video.

Your videos. The videos generated for you, with their status and the credits they used.

Purchases. For each order: the order number, the product, the amount, the payment status and the reference our payment processor returns, such as a transaction ID.

Technical data. Your IP address, browser, preferred language, the page or campaign that brought you to the site, and standard server logs. We use these to prevent abuse and fix problems.

Messages. Anything you send us through support tickets or email.

How we use it

To make your video and show it to you.
To run your account, process payments, add credits and refund failed videos.
To keep the service safe. Photos, text and finished videos are screened automatically for prohibited content before they are used or delivered.
To answer your questions and resolve disputes.
To understand, in aggregate, how the site is used so we can improve it.

We rely on our contract with you (to provide what you paid for), our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure and working, your consent where we ask for it, and our legal obligations, such as tax records.

Who processes your data for us

We may also disclose data if the law requires it, or to protect our users or the service from fraud and abuse.

How long we keep it

Account data: while your account is open.
Photos and videos: while your account is open, so you can download your videos again. Ask us and we will delete any of them sooner.
Order records: as long as tax and accounting rules require, even after your account is deleted.
Content blocked by our safety checks: deleted straight away, except for the record of the refusal.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict how we use it. Contact us through a support ticket from your account (Settings, Support) from the email address on your account. We reply within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Cookies

We use cookies the site needs to work: one keeps you signed in, one remembers your language. If you use Google sign-in, Google sets its own cookies. If analytics or ads are enabled, they are used to measure use of the site in aggregate.

Children

RapperAI is for people aged 18 and over. You may not upload photos of anyone under 18. We delete any photo, video or account we find that breaks this rule.

International transfers

Our providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where the law requires it, these transfers are covered by safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit, access to our systems is restricted, and secrets used by our servers are stored encrypted. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password and tell us straight away if you notice anything unusual.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your data, we will update this page and its date. For significant changes we will also tell you on the site or by email.
